About

Offline Arcade started as a shared spreadsheet between three friends who kept losing signal on long train rides and wanted something to play that didn't beg for Wi-Fi every thirty seconds. That frustration turned into a habit of writing notes, and the notes turned into this site.

We focus only on games you can install once and enjoy offline. No always-online launchers, no downloads that stall on the loading screen because you're underground. If a game demands a constant connection, it doesn't make it into our catalogue.

Every game we cover gets real playtime — usually several evenings, sometimes weeks for the bigger RPGs. We take our own screenshots, we finish the tutorials, and we play far enough to know whether the fun holds up.

We're independent and we pay for our own downloads. Nobody hands us a script, and if a game bores us we simply say so.
