Ironhold Command asks you to build, fortify and defend a series of mountain strongholds against waves of raiders. Every turn you're weighing whether to spend resources on walls, troops or scouting, and the AI is smart enough to punish lazy planning.
It plays great in short sessions since each map is self-contained. I liked that there's no online opponent required — the campaign is entirely offline and the difficulty ramps up honestly.
The interface is clean, and the tooltips explain systems without drowning you in numbers. If you like slow, thoughtful strategy that you can put down and pick back up, this one holds up nicely.
